Sloppy Monday

Well it's monday again... Why are they so terrible? I mean it the start of a new week you should be excited and happy that what happened the week before is past and the future is waiting ahead.
Anyway, I have no strength this morning to even care what I put on so this is what I decided on today.

After work I met up with my little sister and we hung out at the mall and did some window shopping and just had some quality sister time. Then I took the buss and got some groceries and now I'm heading out again for a nice power walk by the water.

When I got up this morning I thought of wearing jeans and a tank. But the I looked at the thermometer and changed my mind, and that was a good thing coz it's been cold and windy today.
So this cozy, soft shirt was the perfect choice for today!

So this is a casual Sunday afternoon outfit. It's not that warm out so jeans and a tank works perfectly until the sun sets and it gets just a tad colder. Thats when the jeans jacket comes on and completes the outfit. The cap is just a fun detail.

Highlights

This was my first time in D.C. So seeing the White House was incredibly cool.
Then the best part about being in D.C. was 4th of july! Independence day! We sat in the grass just by the mall watching the firework show. It was truly amazing!
Then we came to New York City!

We did so much these days it would be easier to tell you what we didn't do. But that's no fun!
But if i were to tell you about the trip then you would be sitting here longer then you were expecting so I will let the pics I've posted speak for themselves.
One this I can tell you; Next year I'm defiantly going back to New York! That's my city!

Last night I had dinner at my parents house and I got home pretty late. So this morning I didn't want to stress about clothes so I just took the same outfit as yesterday but changed the top. It's fascinating how much just a change of color does for an outfit. I felt comfortable in it anyway!

In the US, people asked me why I choose to live in Sweden and not there, and now I know why. I'm in Love with Stockholm. So why leave?
